Description

Painting Birds Chinese Style.I think my favourite Bird to paint has to be the Rooster / Cockerel. He comes in many varieties and all with extravagant tails. And the tail enjoys an ease to celebrate ink on paper. I love that. I find the body difficult but if they loosen their feathers in the cold they are more forgiving to paint. Chinese bird painting is not that easy. I thought it would be more achiebvable than it is and I have to work very hard to gain what I have. I need to work more on the angles of the head. I like the three quarter pose but I find this difficult. Anyway, I am learning always, of course, I hope you enjoy my journey.
